We are now taking bookings for our flu vaccination clinics starting on the 24th of September.  Please call the surgery and support us by booking an appointment as soon as possible.

Online Services have now been initiated and can be accessed through EMIS Patient Access.  You will need to obtain a unique registration letter from the Practice to sign-up. Please ask at reception.

Friends and Family Test

The FFT has been introduced to General Practice to allow patients who use GP services to have the opportunity to feedback on their experience.  It will provide a continuous feedback loop between our patients and the Practice and will be used to improve services.  The FFT is anonymous and has been kept as simple as possible.  The FFT must use standard wording and must include at least one follow-up question.  The results will be published in the Practice and will be forwarded to NHS England monthly.

 Electronic Prescription Service

The Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) is an NHS service. It gives you the chance to change how your GP sends your prescription to the pharmacy you choose to get your medicines or appliances from.

Repeat Prescriptions

Patients requiring a further supply of medicines can order a repeat prescription in the fmulticolour_pillsollowing ways:

  • In person - complete a request slip in the surgery (or a request by letter) having clearly marked the items required.
  • Online - via EMIS Patient Access *
  • Email requests will NOT be accepted

*To order repeat prescriptions on-line you will need to come into the Surgery with Identification and ask for log-in details and a unique pass code to set-up your individual account.

Please note, to reduce the opportunity for misunderstanding, if you have any problems please telephone the surgery. However we are not able to take requests for medication over the phone.

Hospital Prescriptions

If you are prescribed medicines by the hospital you should be given a 14 day supply before you leave.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

48_hoursPlease allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed, or 4 working days if you require your pharmacy to deliver the medicines to you. Please also remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
